Hugh McKee

Managing Director and CEO

Over 32 years’ experience in the metal recycling business, including 9 years at Sims Group where he started under their Management Cadet programme. Later positions included State Manager WA for Metalcorp Recyclers (ASX listed before being acquired by Smorgon Steel). He has also worked for Pechiney Group as head of scrap and secondary metal trading in Australasia, and following that Alcan International, and in 2004 completed a restructure of his trading division and become the owner and Managing Director of a renamed entity “Minemet Australasia Pty Ltd”.


Gregory Toll

Independent Chair and Non-Executive Director

Greg has been Chairman of Close the Loop Inc (ASX:CLG) since November 2019 prior to its listing on the ASX, and remains Chairman at present. Before joining Close the Loop, Greg was CEO and Executive Chairman of CleanTeQ Holdings Limited (ASX:CLQ) (now known as Sunrise Energy Metals Limited (ASX:SRL)), where he was appointed as CEO in 2007 then to the chair role, which he held until November 2013. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science (Veterinary) degree with first class honours and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Robert Nicholls

Independent Non-Executive Director

Rob is a Partner at Straight Bat Private Equity which is a mid-market private equity fund. Rob spent ten years at roadside assistance company - Nationwide Group - principally as Chief Executive Officer where he led the growth of the business across the country and then its sale to a leading Australian institution. He also held roles at Nationwide Group as Chairman and Non-Executive Director. Prior to this Rob spent more than twenty years with Westpac in a variety of senior roles including Head of Direct Equity, Head of Institutional Bank Vic and Head of Private Bank Vic. He also spent three years in the ICT sector after starting his working life as an electrical tradesman. Rob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of SA and a Master of Commerce from the University of NSW.


Mark Tomlinson

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mark is an Investment Banker and Mining Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the Australian mining sector. Most recently, Mark was a Corporate Finance Director for over 13 years with Patersons Securities in Melbourne and was involved in originating and executing capital raisings (including IPOs) for a range of ASX listed companies primarily in the resources and oil and gas sectors. Mark also acted as corporate adviser to a number of ASX listed companies during this time, advising on strategy, assets, M&A and funding initiatives.

Mark commenced his career as a mining engineer with BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto in underground coal operations for over a decade before joining Bankers Trust as a senior mining analyst. He subsequently re-joined BHP as a Strategy Manager in its Carbon Steel Materials division (iron ore, met coal and manganese) in Melbourne.

Mark is currently the Non-Executive Chair of Larvotto Resources Limited, a mineral exploration company that listed on the ASX in 2021. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from the University of Wollongong and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.


Mitzi Gilligan

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mitzi is a Principal and Founder of Hive Legal practising in commercial and regulatory law. She has 25 years’ experience working in traditional law firms – 13 years as a partner managing complex projects with teams in diverse locations. She is a respected advisor to corporate clients, government and public sector agencies. Mitzi is also a director of electricity generator, RATCH Australia Corporation Pty Ltd, legal tech business, Xakia Technologies Pty Ltd and knowmore Legal Service Limited, a free legal service provider for survivors of child sexual abuse. She is former board Chair at Justice Connect and current chair of the External Law Advisory Committee at Swinburne University of Technology.

Mitzi holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Law from Monash University and a Master of Law from each of University of Cambridge and Monash University. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
